Material
Three blocks of hard wood connected as a vertical plant (stem and two leaves); the blocks are multi-sided and irregularly shaped as polyhedrons and prisms; the tips of the side blocks (leaves) are perforated with holes; glossy finished; black rectangular base.

Narrative
This is a meditation on impermanence and the passage of time. It captures the inevitable tipping point where form begins to surrender to nothingness. Regardless of how solid we build our structures, there is persistent, quiet process that hollows things out, transforming matter into energy, space, and dying memory (in short, entropic decay).
